Get Out The Vote is a competition started by the AIGA to encourage voter participation. The original competition is for posters but for this assignment I created a postcard or mailer to be sent to eligible voter's homes.
Since my target demographic was newly eligible voters I wanted the postcard to be amusing/playful to the viewer and have a youthful vibe so young voters wouldn't throw it out with the junk mail. I also wanted to focus on unity amongst fellow American voters so the newly eligible voters could understand that voting is about something bigger than themselves and they could find joy in that sense of belonging and a proud sense of duty/responsibility.
