Educational Typography Poster

An educational poster made in Indesign about the interesting lesser-known facts about Ravens. This poster could be hung in libraries, classrooms and free-gathering spaces.

This striking typographic poster is made entirely out of type and glyphs.

Type Used

Zapafino was a good font for this project with its illustrious swooshes and glyphs that helped create the textures for this bird

Good use of layers was involved in creating multiple levels of stippling texture as well as adding depth with background elements

Grayscale

I created the poster in a black & white layout before adding color This allowed me to focus on the typography

Color

Since the raven is a completely black bird I wanted to add contrast with primary colors specifically warm red
